At TreeWise we aim to offer high quality tree services covering all aspects of arboriculture & Forestry.
As we have bases in both the Falmouth and Penzance areas we are able to offer these services throughout Cornwall, and further afield:
- Tree Pruning– we pride ourselves on being able to sympathetically reduce trees of all shapes and sizes in order to redress the balance between the tree and it’s growing space.
- Felling and Dismantling – we carry out work on trees of all sizes using up to date techniques, ensuring that trees are taken down in a safe and controlled manner.
- Tree Planting – whether large scale woodland creation projects or planting specimen, amenity trees, we can source, plant, and carry out aftercare to ensure successful establishment of your trees.
- Deadwood Management – we can manage your tree’s deadwood to suit your needs, depending on whether ecology or health and safety is your primary concern.
- Advisory Work– we can carry out tree hazard assessments, tree condition reports, BS 5837 reports and planning applications for protected trees on your behalf.
- Woodland Management – whether you need advice on how to manage your woodland, need help managing it, or indeed require our help in creating a new woodland, TreeWise would be a wise choice for you. Furthermore with our tractor processing unit, skidder winch & 10tonne forwarder trailer with crane, if you need timber harvesting from flat or difficult sites we are able to offer practical solutions to your needs. On the most difficult sites we can also offer the use of an 8tonne excavator.
- Ecologically Sensitive Tree Work – this is the type of tree work to which we are most endeared. Examples of our work can be seen at National Trust properties along the banks of the Helford. Services include: natural fracture pruning, tree veteranisation, veteran tree management, crown retrenchment pruning and hedge laying.
- Firewood Sales – We sell seasoned and split firewood (fire logs) by the load, half load, and by the bag. As we have wood yards in both Mylor (Falmouth) and Penzance local delivery is ususally free.
- Sustainable Timber Production – our portable saw mill allows us to turn trees into planks of timber wherever they fall. Look at our photos page to see some of the timber we have produced.
